SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION PROCESS

Step 1

Understanding your business goals and brand

Before we can start optimizing your site for search engines, we need to understand what your business does, who its key audiences are, what your business goals are, and how we can help you accomplish them. We start all SEO projects with an in-depth discovery meeting to ensure we understand your vision.

Step 2

Planning a content, optimization, and listing strategy

Now that we have a fuller understanding of your business and what niches to target, we perform keyword and industry research. Based on that research, your business goals, and initial analytics, we plan out new/updated content for your site, choose which directories would be most effective to list your business on, and perform a site audit to evaluate areas for improvement.

Step 3

Preparing content and publishing listings

Now, we begin designing and writing the content for your blogs, landing pages, and other website content. We also begin publishing your business listings/citations on the approved directories.

Step 4

Launching new content and optimizations

Once you have approved all content, we launch any blogs or landing pages as well as our recommended optimizations. If you are also on one of our website subscription plans, then all of these changes can be done at no extra charge. Otherwise, we will need to send these changes to your developer.

Step 5

Ongoing content strategy & reporting

We review your campaign performance regularly and use data and research to expand your reach on search engines even more via new blogs, pages, and other content. Your SEO performance is available within our single pane of glass, SmartBoard™. SmartBoard™ analytics dashboard is included in all of our marketing services, including our SEO services. If you have multiple services with us, then SmartBoard™ is your go-to for viewing analytics on all your marketing campaigns.

WEBSITE OPTIMIZATION

Rank on search engines for the keywords that are most valuable to your business

From writing blog posts that answer your target audience’s search queries to building local landing pages to optimizing your website HTML, we will ensure your website’s on-page SEO factors, technical SEO factors, and content are optimized to the max.

However, because these updates to your site need to be ongoing in order to be effective and are usually extensive, we highly recommend pairing our SEO services with our website design & development services so you don’t have to pay your developer for every update needed to see SEO results—we offer unlimited updates in our website plans.

The short answer is yes, your business probably does need SEO. Search engines are a discovery tool that the majority of consumers use to find a product or service they’re interested in.
